Personal Tragedy

Posted in: Personal News,SenseCam

I know it sounds trivial to most people, I know I should “get a life.” But…

sensecam_080821_191402_02757I have lost the lanyard that I wear around my neck to tether me to my SenseCam.

I am having difficulty adapting to a day without it hanging from my neck like some sort of technological military dog tag.

It feels “weird” knowing that the conversation I am having, or whatever physical act I am engaged in, is not actually being recorded to my digital memory store.

After two years of wearing this thing and having it with me every waking hour I am now at a bit of an emotional loss as to what to do with myself.

It feels like being separated from my laptop!

I don’t know how people can live like that.

Yes, I know, I need to get out more.

Someday I may actually take your advice and leave my girlfriend’s Mother’s basement and go out, see some of the world, interact with people, get a life, as it were.

Just as soon as I find my SenseCam lanyard so that I can record the event…
